National Geographic partnered with LIPTON® to document the sustainability practices of the LIPTON® Tea Estate in Kericho, Kenya and they sent renowned reporter Boyd Matson to bring this story to life. The estate is LIPTON® Tea's first tea field to be awarded the Rainforest Alliance’s certification for sustainability and showcases the company’s commitment to producing great tea through environmentally friendly and socially responsible practices. LIPTON® Tea's goal is to have all of their tea harvested from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ plantations by 2015 and the Kericho plantation is a great place to start.
